How do I submit my photos and information for my custom book?

After placing your order, you'll receive a confirmation email with a simple upload link. You can upload your photos and any text, captions, or special instructions directly through that link. We'll take it from there!

 

What file formats do you accept for photos?                                     

We accept JPG, PNG, and PDF files. For the best print quality, please use the highest resolution versions of your photos available. Photos taken on most modern smartphones print beautifully.

 

What is the minimum/maximum number of photos I can include?

Our Life Story book is between 32-40-pages accommodates up to 15 photos. Our Family Memoir book is typically 40-70 pages accommodates up to 20 photos.

 

Will I see a proof before my book is printed?

A proof will not be sent—but before your book goes to print, you'll receive a confirmation summary listing all the content you submitted. Please review it carefully, as your book is printed with the information exactly as submitted. We recommend double-checking all names, dates, and captions.

 

Can I make changes after I place my order?

Once you confirm the information you submitted and it goes to print, we're unable to make changes, so please review carefully before approving.

How much does a custom book cost?

Our custom books start at $59, which includes your personalized full-color interior, custom cover, and shipping within the United States. See our full pricing page for details.

 

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover), processed securely through our website.

Do you offer discounts for multiple books or bulk orders?

Yes! If you're ordering 4 or more copies of the same book — great for gifts, events, or family reunions — the discount will be reflected your order.

PRODUCTION & SHIPPING

How long does it take to make my book?

Once we receive your questionnaire responses, your book typically takes 3–5 business days to produce, plus shipping time. Standard US shipping adds approximately 5–7 business days. Total time from order to delivery is usually 2–3 weeks.

Where is my book printed and shipped from?

Your book is printed by our professional printing partner and shipped directly to your door. They have facilities across the US and print at the location closest to you to minimize shipping time.

 

Do you ship internationally?

Currently we ship within the United States only. We hope to offer international shipping in the future.

How will my order be packaged?

Your book is carefully packaged to prevent bending or damage during shipping. It arrives in a protective mailer.

Can I track my order?

Yes! You'll receive an email with a tracking number as soon as your book ships so you can follow it every step of the way.

QUALITY

What type of paper is used?

Your book is printed on high-quality paper that brings out the colors and details in your photos. The cover has a [glossy/matte] finish for a polished, professional look.

Will the photos look the same as on my screen?

Printed colors can appear slightly different from what you see on a screen, as every monitor displays color differently. We recommend submitting the highest quality photos.  If you have concerns about a specific photo, mention it when you submit your order and we'll advise you.

RETURNS & PROBLEMS

What if my book arrives damaged?

We want you to love your book. If it arrives damaged or defective, email us at [email] within 7 days of delivery with a photo of the damage and we will reprint and reship your book at no charge.

What is your refund policy?

Because every book is custom-made just for you, we are unable to offer refunds for change of mind. However, if there is a quality issue or error on our part, we will make it right with a reprint or refund. Please review your questionnaire responses carefully before approving, as errors in the content you submit cannot be reprinted for free.

What if there's a typo or error in the book?

If the error was made by us during the design process, we'll reprint your book at no cost. If the error was in the content you submitted and approved in your proof, a reprint will be offered at a discounted rate. This is why we strongly encourage reviewing your inputs thoroughly before approving.

Can I reorder the same book again later?

Yes! We keep your book file on record for 1 year. Simply contact us and reference your original order number and we can reprint it for you.

PRIVACY

What do you do with the photos and information I send you?

Your photos and personal information are used solely to create your custom book. We do not sell, share, or use your content for any other purpose. Files are stored securely and deleted from our system after 1 year following your order completion.

 

Is my payment information secure?

Absolutely. All payments are processed through Wix Payments, which use industry-standard encryption. We never see or store your full credit card information.
